South Hampstead Cricket Club do not sell your personal information.
South Hampstead Cricket Club may share your information as required with the England and Wales Cricket board (ECB), Middlesex in the Community (MiTC), Middlesex Junior Cricket Association (MJCA) and other authorities su as police, medical specialists; children’s social care, courts and/ or relevant bodies such as probation officers in support of on-going investigations.
We also adhere to the ECB SafeHands guidelines for participation in all cricket activities.
The Club will not take any automated decisions about you.

What personal information do we collect?

We collect a range of personal information, related to your membership of South Hamstead Cricket Club, which may include information such as:

Name and date of birth.
Contact details (including those of parent or legal guardians of junior members).
Contact details of junior members if you are over 16.
Medical/specific requirements information.
Emergency contact details.
Your video/photography preference.
Your membership declaration and signature.
Consents from the parent/legal guardian.
Other relevant information related to your membership (and any other people included in your membership application).

We obtain personal data about you (and any other people included in your membership) through two main sources, your membership application form and the club website (currently managed via Pitchero). Other sources of date may include:

Information you provide to club officials, club coaches and team managers.
Medical practitioners.
Play cricket database.
The ECB
County boards (where relevant)
Leagues (where relevant)

How do we use your personal information?

We mainly use your information to provide you with membership to South Hampstead Cricket Club and related club activities. We also use your information to provide you with updates to various activities that you (and any other people included in your membership application) are part of within the club, this may includes newsletters and other marketing activities within the club.

We may process your personal information for several different purposes and these are set out below:

Administering your application for membership of the Club.
Processing to support participation in the relevant and appropriate Cricket leagues, providing you (and any other people included in your membership application) with appropriate playing opportunities
Administering bookings and attendance at club activities.
Supporting the delivery of cricket related activities.
For training and competition entry.
Reporting of participation and any incidents and of figures and trends (including equality and inclusion information)
For quality and improvement monitoring
Where we have a legal obligation to provide personal data for example when requested by the Police, ECB Safeguarding team or the Information Commissioners Office (ICO)
Where we have appropriate legitimate business need to use your personal information such as maintaining our membership database, developing or improving our services to members, all whilst ensuring that such business need does not interfere with your rights and freedoms and does not cause you harm.
Where we need to use your sensitive personal information such as health data because it is necessary for your vital interests, this being a life or death matter such as the disclosure of allergic reactions or sensitive medical information to the relevant authorities.

How long do we keep your records?

We will not retain your personal data for longer than is reasonable and necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We shall retain your personal data for such time as you are registered with South Hampstead Cricket Club as a member.

Two years after you cease to be a member of South Hampstead Cricket Club or play an active part in South Hampstead Cricket Club, we shall delete your data excepting that needed to keep historical scorecard and statistical records.

Your Rights

You can ask us to do various things with your personal information, for example at any time you can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct mistakes, change the way we use your information, or even delete it. We’ll either do what you have asked or explain why we can’t usually because of a legal or regulatory issue.

As a summary you have the follow rights under GDPR: The right to rectification, The Right to Erasure, Right to restrict the processing of data, Right to data portability, the right to object to direct marketing- you are in control of how we use you information for marketing, we will only contact you if you’ve agreed that it’s okay to do so.

We might use your information to tell you about activities that could interest you, but we don’t use your information for marketing campaigns.
