We mainly use your information to provide you with membership to South Hampstead Cricket Club and related club activities. We also use your information to provide you with updates to various activities that you (and any other people included in your membership application) are part of within the club, this may includes newsletters and other marketing activities within the club.

How long do we keep your records?
We will not retain your personal data for longer than is reasonable and necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We shall retain your personal data for such time as you are registered with South Hampstead Cricket Club as a member.
Two years after you cease to be a member of South Hampstead Cricket Club or play an active part in South Hampstead Cricket Club, we shall delete your data excepting that needed to keep historical scorecard and statistical records.
Your Rights
You can ask us to do various things with your personal information, for example at any time you can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct mistakes, change the way we use your information, or even delete it. We’ll either do what you have asked or explain why we can’t usually because of a legal or regulatory issue.

Your (and any other people included in your membership application) personal information is vital to South Hampstead Cricket club as it undertakes and discharges it duties as a cricket club.
We recognise that looking after data is a big responsibility and we take the security of your (and your families) personal information seriously, and follow General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) to protect the information we hold on you.
We know that respecting the confidentiality of personal information is critical to preserving your trust and have developed a series of procedures to ensure that all with the club are aware and abide by these principles, please see our website for our full privacy principles.
Whilst we recognise the rights that the GDPR affords to data subjects, we do require your explicit consent to South Hampstead Cricket Club holding your personal data both electronically and where, required on paper. In certain cases, the withholding of personal information may result in the cancellation or temporary suspension of membership until all required information is supplied.
South Hampstead Cricket Club is dedicated to providing a safe and positive environment for members to enjoy themselves and the game of cricket regardless of age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, ability, or disability.
The believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents, carers or guardians associated with the Club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.
All members (and their guests) should behave appropriately towards the coaches, other Club members and visitors to the Club. The coaching staff and/or captains and/or ground staff and/or Club Committee members will inform the Club Secretary if they consider that a Member's behaviour is unacceptable and the Club reserves the right to remove the Member from sessions or from the Club entirely if that Member's behaviour proves disruptive to others.
The coaches and the Club are not responsible for personal injury, loss or damage to property whilst you attend the Club.
For those senior cricketers selected for league matches, please note it is not possible to play for more than one club. You must have permission from the Club Secretary or Club Chair in writing (via email) if you would like to play for another club. We reserve the right to cancel the membership of anyone found to be playing concurrently at another club without permission.
Players who have not paid their membership fee and/or do not pay their match fees as per the current guidance provided here will not be selected until the arrears are settled.
In applying for memberhsip you confirm that you have read and agree to abide by the rules and policies of the Club and the rules of the Main Club, including the Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
