The Board of South Hampstead Club Limited is looking to appoint directors who will serve on the Board from the end of the 2026 AGM (anticipated to be 6th September 2026). Each Section Committee has been asked to put forward a maximum of six director nominees for the Board's consideration given that the maximum size of the Board that is permitted is 12 directors.
In the attached notice we are now inviting expressions of interest from eligible members of the Cricket Section who would like to be considered.

Who can apply?

You can apply if you are:
• A Member (including social) of the Club aged 18 or over; and
• A Full Member in good standing.
Current directors who wish to be reappointed must also apply through this process.

What do you need to submit?

By 5.00 p.m. on 6 July 2026, you must send the following by email to committee@southhampsteadcc.org.uk. A short statement explaining why you want to serve as a director;
• A brief summary of your relevant skills and experience;
• Confirmation that you are a Club member aged 18+;
• A signed HMRC fit and proper person declaration (https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/5a7f34df40f0b62305b85bc4/Fit-and-proper-persons-helpsheet-and-declaration.pdf);
• Details of any conflicts of interest; and
• Confirmation that you have the time and willingness to fulfil the role.

What happens next?

The Section Committee will meet on or before 20th July 2026 to review all applications and select director nominees. The selected nominees will then be submitted to the Board for final review and approval.

Please note: Submitting an expression of interest is an application only. There is no guarantee of being selected by the Section Committee or, if selected, of being appointed by the Board. The Board has the sole and final decision on all director appointments. If you are appointed by the Board to be a director of the Company your appointment will take effect from the end of the 2026 AGM of the Club. This is an unpaid volunteer position.
